The short version

We may earn a commission if you book through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the booking platform directly.

We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We do not sell tours, take payments or act as an agent for any operator or platform.

Who does what

Every trip listed here is sold and operated by a third party — a range of local East Java operators selling through a booking platform. The platform and the listing appear on each tour card so you can verify the product yourself.

The operator runs the trip, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. We have no authority to make commitments on their behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way.

The practical test is on the pages themselves. The cheapest trek pays the smallest commission and is the one recommended to most travellers staying in Banyuwangi, and the comparison pages say plainly that the blue fire is never guaranteed and that a private tour buys timing rather than better odds.

Ratings and reviews

Ratings and review counts are the platform's own, read on the date shown on each page — from 4.7 to 5.0 across the rated listings in August 2026, with several newer listings carrying no reviews yet, which we say rather than hide. We do not calculate a site rating of our own, and this site carries no aggregate rating of its own in its markup, because the site has no reviews.

Quoted reviews keep the reviewer's name and travel month as published. We do not write testimonials.

Prices

Prices shown are starting prices at the time of the last check, stated on every page: from $12.31 for the cheapest Banyuwangi trek to $473.22 for the private three-day combination, as read in August 2026. They move with season, group size and currency. The price that counts is the one on the checkout page before you pay.
